A tragic road accident has been reported from Pandripani on the Tamta–Dumarbhar main road under Pathalgaon police station area in Jashpur district. According to information, a speeding बाइक rider crashed into a water tanker parked on the roadside for house construction work.
It is being reported that near a sharp turn, the bike rammed straight into the tanker, leading to the rider’s death on the spot. The deceased was traveling from Tamta towards Dumarbhar. The incident created panic in the area. On receiving information, police reached the spot, took the body into custody, and initiated panchnama proceedings.
Police have registered a case and started investigation. Meanwhile, questions are once again being raised over negligence of vehicles parked along roadsides.
