
Sensitive Initiative by Chief Minister’s Camp Office: Mortal Remains Airlifted from Kerala to Native Village
Jashpur: In a prompt and compassionate intervention, the Chief Minister’s Camp Office ensured that the mortal remains of late Mrityunjay Singh, a resident of Dumartoli, Keradih village under Kunkuri block, were brought back home from Thrissur, Kerala. According to family members, Mrityunjay Singh was critically injured in a tragic road accident in Thrissur and succumbed to his injuries during treatment on April 6. Following his demise, the grieving family approached the Camp Office seeking assistance to bring his body back to his native village. Acting swiftly, the Camp Office coordinated all necessary arrangements. The mortal remains were airlifted from Kochi Airport to Ranchi and later transported to Dumartoli, Keradih by a mortuary vehicle. The last rites were performed in his village as per traditions.
The timely and humane action provided immense relief and emotional support to the bereaved family during a difficult time. The family expressed deep gratitude for the assistance extended. This initiative reflects the commitment and sensitivity of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, who continues to stand by citizens in times of crisis, ensuring support when it matters the most.
